The Next Door is pleased to announce the expansion of its recovery support services to women and their children as they transition from crisis to productive citizenship. We are honored to welcome John P. Walters, Director of the White House Office for National Drug Control Policy, to assist us in this opening.
The Next Door, Inc. is a nonprofit agency which provides housing and recovery support services to women in crisis, equipping them to develop lives of wholeness and hope. Freedom Recovery Community will increase those services by offering apartments to women and their children as they leave transitional facilities, rehabilitation centers or homelessness.
We are grateful for the major gifts from Tennessee Housing Development Agency's Housing Trust Fund, Memorial Foundation, Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities, HUD Local Continuum of Care and numerous private donors.
